Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer for the DC Land Development Strategy within the Global Engineering Strategy team.

You will drive front end engineering, due diligence, site master planning, and design strategy for owned and leased data center sites worldwide. This role requires coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors across multiple regions to deliver scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities.
• Experience leading engineering design for data center projects.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead front end engineering and design strategy for new site developments.
• Oversee due diligence, site master planning and design strategy for regions.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Risk and Resiliency, Power, and other teams on strategy.
• Manage multiple projects across geographies and communicate effectively.
