Job summary

JLL is seeking a Building Engineer for our data center operations in LaGrange, GA. You will maintain electrical and mechanical infrastructure to ensure 100% uptime and support critical facility operations on-site.

The role requires 2+ years in data centers, experience with UPS, generators, and switchgear, and strong communication skills. Willingness to work varied shifts and respond to incidents is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a data center/critical facility.
• Experience with UPS systems, generators, and switchgear.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Google Suite, and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure 100% uptime of building systems.
• Analyze system operations, diagnose issues, and take corrective actions.
• Manage site incidents; handle CMMS, vendor management, and customer-facing tickets.
• Follow emergency escalation procedures and support additional duties.
