Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Field Service Project Manager in Tempe to lead mechanical startup, commissioning, warranty, and field service activities. You will be the primary liaison among customers, field teams, subcontractors, and internal departments, driving on-schedule, on-budget project delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management and HVAC service operations, with strong communication and ERP experience (SAP/NxGen).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/engineering/architecture or equivalent.
• At least five years in PM, field service coordination, warranty admin, or HVAC service.
• Experience with HVAC startup, commissioning, installation, and maint.
• Knowledge of construction management principles and delivery.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with SAP, NxGen or similar ERP systems; OSHA 30 cert.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate startup and commissioning activities to meet milestones.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance.
• Provide regular status reports and risk assessments to stakeholders.
• Lead warranty programs and ensure timely closeout documentation.
• Ensure safety compliance and lead site safety meetings.
• Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
