Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Data Center Build Project Manager in Tempe, AZ to oversee O&M for data center sites and new construction, including Steam Plant operations, boiler systems, and safety compliance. You will hire, train, and schedule staff for 24/7 operation, develop work schedules, manage fuel and water treatment, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.

Two-year technical degree or equivalent field experience.
Five or more years of experience in general maintenance work in an Academic Environment.
Validated leadership abilities.
Able to lead and train entry-level personnel.
Able to take care of customers and others at all levels.
Knowledge of JCI procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

Execute O&M for data center sites and new construction.
Oversee operation of Steam Plant and boilers; ensure safe and efficient operation and maintenance.
Coordinate staff hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Develop 24/7 work schedules and lead safety and compliance programs.
Manage fuel, water treatment chemicals, and supplies; supervise maintenance activities.
Prepare and submit management reports; ensure adherence to budgets and company policies.
