Job summary

Eden Technologies seeks a Data Center Hardware Asset Management Specialist to own lifecycle tracking for enterprise servers, storage, and network gear. The role combines hands-on hardware work with accurate asset records and lifecycle governance.

You will audit physical inventories, use ITAM/CMDB/DCIM systems to maintain locations, configurations, and status, and coordinate with stakeholders on requirements and deployments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with enterprise server and data center hardware.
• Experience with IT hardware asset management, inventory tracking, physical audits, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with ITAM, CMDB or DCIM platforms such as listed tools.

Responsibilities

• Data Center Hardware Operations: racking, stacking, installation, moves, and decommissioning of enterprise servers, storage, and network gear.
• Hardware Asset Management: track lifecycle from acquisition to retirement.
• Inventory Auditing & Reconciliation: conduct physical audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Asset Management Systems: use ITAM/CMDB/DCIM tools to track equipment, locations, configurations, and lifecycle.
• Hardware Requirements & Planning: gather specs, quantities, locations, timelines.
• Lifecycle Decisions: assess age, condition, warranty, end-of-life to support refresh or redeployment.
• Reporting & Process Improvement: maintain documentation and generate inventory reports.
