Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking an IT Asset Management professional to track hardware and software assets, support CMDB accuracy and ensure license compliance. The role focuses on depot readiness, data center operations, and audit support, with opportunities to implement process improvements across the asset lifecycle.

You will work onsite across multiple facilities, coordinating purchases, and maintaining asset records while adhering to vendor contracts and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field with 2–4 years of related experience.
• Experience with ITSM, ServiceNow, CMDB and asset management processes.
• Familiarity with hardware asset management and data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Plans, monitors, and records hardware assets and licenses ensuring policy compliance.
• Maintains CMDB and asset management tools with accurate content.
• Provides KPI/metric reporting on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis.
• Manages identification, versioning, dependencies for assets and CIs.
• Conducts CMDB verifications and audits, initiates corrective actions.
• Creates requisitions and validates incoming orders through POs.
• Ensures compliance with vendor contracts and safety requirements.
