Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to manage day-to-day data center hardware assets, ensuring accurate records, secure chain of custody, and compliance with asset management, warehouse, audit, RMA, disposal, and SOX controls.

The role involves receiving hardware, validating shipments, RFID scans, lifecycle tracking of servers, storage, network gear, and optics; maintaining warehouse organization; performing physical inventories; supporting transfers, RMAs, and

Qualifications

• Experience in data center operations or related field.
• Hands-on hardware asset handling experience.
• Knowledge of fiber optic cabling and connectivity standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive hardware deliveries and validate shipments, process RFID scans, and update asset status and location.
• Track assets, spares, servers, storage, network gear, drives and optics through their lifecycle.
• Manage warehouse organization, security, housekeeping, and storage utilization.
• Conduct physical inventory audits and resolve asset record discrepancies.
• Support asset transfers, RMAs, and inter-data-center shipments.
• Coordinate end-of-life asset collection and secure disposal.
• Review and resolve asset management tickets, including missing assets and disposal cases.
• Monitor operational metrics, dashboards, and delivery SLAs.
