Job summary

HR-Work is seeking an Inventory Specialist in New York to manage receipt, identification, storage, and control of networking, telecommunications, data center, and related equipment. You will perform ERP-based inventory receipts, create/update items, descriptions, bin locations, and ensure records align with physical stock.

• Experience in inventory control, receiving, warehousing, or related operational role is required.
• Experience using ERP/inventory mgmt systems; NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase orders and receiving docs to determine inventory processing requirements.
• Verify received products against PO numbers, serials, quantities, and condition.
• Identify equipment using labels, part numbers, serial numbers, and docs.
• Create and maintain item records, descriptions, and manufacturing data in ERP.
• Process inventory receipts and ensure records match physical stock.
• Maintain inventory labels, bins, and storage locations in ERP and warehouse systems.
• Perform cycle counts, audits, and location checks for accuracy.
• Coordinate with Warehouse staff to label, move, and store items correctly.
