Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Area Construction Manager to join our Data Center Design, Engineering, & Construction team. The ACM will lead 6–8 regions of DEC delivery, oversee 8–10 direct reports, and coordinate with Safety, QAQC, and Project Controls to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 15+ years in construction, strong leadership, and expertise in live-environment builds, land-ready sites, and change orders.

Qualifications

• Experience in design and construction supply chain and processes.
• Experience communicating, presenting, and negotiating with cross-functional teams.
• 15+ years of professional experience in construction and project planning of complex, mission critical projects.
• Experience with various contract delivery methodologies, legal considerations, IP, and commercial terms.
• Experience in large scale construction management (excess of $500M/yr. construction spend).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee New Build, land ready and Construction Ready sites; provide preconstruction support.
• Lead retrofit and techmod projects; onboard new hires and drive continuous improvement.
• Communicate clearly to Area Manager and organization when delivery capacity is impacted.
• Manage project KPI health and financial performance for assigned area.
• Provide people management to site teams; develop and empower teams and culture.
• Support contract negotiations and Change Order proceedings; engage in CCAM as needed.
• Review and approve contracts and Change Orders within signing authority.
