Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Area Construction Manager to join our Data Center Design, Engineering, & Construction (DEC) team. The ACM will lead 6–8 regions with 2–6 FTEs per region and manage 8–10 direct reports, driving on-time, on-budget delivery of land-ready, construction-ready sites and live retrofit work.

Travel will be significant (50% or more) to support sites, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure consistent best practices across the DEC organization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience in construction and project planning.
• Experience with large-scale construction management (>$500M/yr).
• Bachelor's degree in CM, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with various contract delivery methodologies and terms.
• Ability to communicate, present, and negotiate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in design and construction supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee New Build, land ready and Construction Ready sites, and retrofit projects.
• Provide clear, concise communications to the Area Manager and broader organization.
• Manage the financial health and KPI performance of projects.
• Lead and develop site teams and champion Meta culture.
• Support contract and Change Order negotiations and CCAM prep.
• Review contracts and Change Orders within signing authority.
• Coordinate with other Area Construction Managers for alignment and best practices.
• Onboard new hires and support recruitment decisions.
