Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Area Construction Manager to lead DEC Delivery Construction Management across 6–8 regions with 50%+ travel. You will oversee land ready, construction ready, live environment retrofits, and new builds while managing a matrixed team of safety, QA/QC, and project controls.

Strong leadership and financial stewardship are essential. The role requires 15+ years in complex, mission-critical construction, cross-functional negotiation, and experience with GMP or IPD

Qualifications

• Experience in design and construction supply chain and processes.
• Experience communicating, presenting, and negotiating with cross-functional teams on complex construction projects.
• 15+ years of professional experience in construction and project planning of complex, mission critical projects.
• Experience with various contract delivery methodologies, legal considerations, IP, and commercial terms.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee New Build, land ready and Construction Ready sites, retrofit and techmod projects, onboarding new hires, and driving lessons learned.
• Provide clear communications to Area Manager and leadership when delivery capacity is impacted.
• Monitor KPI and financial health of projects; ensure team and project stay on track.
• Manage site teams, model Meta culture, empower teams, and drive execution.
• Support contract negotiations and Change Order processes; prepare for CCAM presentations.
