Job summary

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, seeks an Architectural Project Manager - Data Centers to lead client programs across U.S. offices including McLean, VA.

You will guide design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration with a focus on schedule, budgets, and client relations. Lead project teams, ensure contract delivery, develop project charters and QA/QC plans, review invoices, and provide weekly updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Certification as a licensed professional preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery.
• Basic knowledge of architectural contracts and contract execution procedures.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Experience with collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Demonstrated professional expertise with Data Centers is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for job communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams through all project phases, ensuring on-time deliverables.
• Ensure contracts are in place prior to execution of deliverables.
• Create and maintain milestone-based schedules and staffing plans.
• Develop Project Charters and QA/QC plans for all work.
• Assist with proposals and responses as requested.
• Monitor financial status and complete reviews with leadership.
• Review monthly invoicing and consultant billing.
• Produce weekly project updates and communicate with stakeholders.
• Lead internal and external project team meetings.
• Oversee Construction Administration including RFI/Submittals and OAC attendance.
