Job summary

MG2 Design is seeking an Architectural Project Manager - Data Centers to drive client programs and lead project teams in all design and delivery phases in the US. You will oversee contracts, schedules, and budgets while maintaining MG2 standards for quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a professional architecture/design firm.
• Licensure as a professional architect preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery.
• Basic knowledge of architectural contracts and contract execution procedures.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Demonstrated expertise utilizing collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Demonstrated professional expertise with Data Centers is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams through all project phases. Primary responsibility is ensuring project deliverables are aligned with the contract and budget.
• Ensure required contracts are in place prior to beginning execution of contract deliverables.
• Create and maintain milestone-based project schedules and staffing workplans.
• Create and maintain detailed Project Charters including a QA/QC plan.
• Assist with development of project proposals and RFP responses.
• Monitor project financial status and conduct interim reviews with Team Leads.
• Review monthly project invoicing and consultant billing.
• Produce weekly project updates and maintain documentation for stakeholders.
• Lead internal and external project team meetings.
• Participate in Quality Control procedures for externally distributed deliverables.
• Oversee Construction Administration activities including RFI/Submittal reviews.
• Review site visit reports and punch lists prior to issuance.
• Lead project debrief meetings and continuous service improvements.
• Manage project close-out procedures and contractual alignment.
• Coordinate internal and external resources for quality and profitability.
• Provide feedback and coaching to team members.
• Conduct 1:1s and performance reviews for people managers.
