Job summary

CloudHQ, LLC seeks an Architectural Design Manager to lead the design and delivery of Architectural systems for data centers across the Americas. You will guide projects from master planning to construction handover, ensuring performance, resilience, and efficiency for CloudHQ and clients.

Collaborating with customers, architects, engineers, and operations teams, you will mitigate risk, drive timely decisions, and push projects to completion while maintaining technical rigor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Architectural Design with data centers or mission-critical.
• Experience with commissioning and handover of Architectural systems in data center environments.
• Experience reviewing design documents and ensuring code compliance with specifications.
• Experience with construction project management tools (BIM360, Helix) and drawing review software (Bluebeam, ACC).
• Track record of managing external design consultants and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiation and execution of Architectural systems design with focus on reliability, efficiency, safety and sustainability.
• Manage third-party consultant teams to develop detailed designs aligned with customer requirements and CloudHQ objectives.
• Oversee design deliverables, project specifications, schedules, and task allocations.
• Support campus planning, entitlements, design, and permitting processes from site acquisition through construction document delivery on multiple projects.
• Represent CloudHQ as Architectural design expert at meetings and collaborate with global design colleagues to share best practices.
