Job summary

CloudHQ, LLC is seeking an Electrical Design Manager to lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for its data centers across The Americas. You will drive projects from concept through handover, ensuring performance and efficiency while coordinating with customers, architects, engineers, and operations teams.

The role requires 5+ years in data-center electrical design, leadership experience, and PE licensure where possible. Travel to sites and client meetings will be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing electrical systems for data centers or critical facilities.
• At least 2 years in a lead design role.
• Experience coordinating external consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems in mission-critical environments.
• Proactive risk identification and mitigation for complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiation and execution of electrical systems design with focus on reliability and efficiency.
• Manage third-party consultants and align designs with customer needs and CloudHQ standards.
• Oversee design deliverables, schedules, and allocations for quality outputs.
• Support campus planning, permitting, and construction document delivery on multiple projects.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into designs.
