Job summary

CloudHQ, LLC seeks a Mechanical Design Manager to lead the design and delivery of mechanical systems for data centers across the Americas, from master planning and concept design through construction, commissioning, and handover. You will ensure facilities meet performance, resilience, and efficiency standards for CloudHQ and customers.

Responsibilities include managing external design consultants, coordinating with customers and cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and driving timely

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing mechanical (cooling, ventilation) systems for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience leading design teams and coordinating external consultants.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiation and execution of mechanical systems design for data centers.
• Manage external design consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects.
• Oversee design deliverables, specifications, schedules and allocations.
• Support campus planning, entitlements, design and permitting through construction document delivery.
• Coordinate with customers, architects, and operations to meet standards and lifecycle goals.
