Job summary

Envision Pharma Group seeks an Associate Director, Data Architecture & Governance to lead data architecture and governance across enterprise data domains, partnering with data owners and engineering to deliver trustworthy, reusable data assets. The role reports to the Enterprise Data & AI Leader and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, data engineering, or enterprise integration, including 2+ years in design authority.
• Experience delivering Master Data Management capability with golden records, matching, or survivorship rules.
• Hands-on with at least one enterprise iPaaS and with API-based/event-driven integration design.
• Proven data governance controls: quality rules, lineage, cataloging, access management.
• Strong data modeling across relational and dimensional paradigms.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders to define data definitions and ownership.
• Clear written and verbal communication for senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own data architecture and governance for assigned domains.
• Define and maintain MDM artifacts and reference data standards.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models; ensure traceability.
• Build reusable iPaaS integration patterns and API contracts.
• Operationalize data governance; implement data quality and lineage.
• Review designs against architecture standards to protect delivery velocity.
• Bridge between business data owners and engineering squads on requirements.
• Instrument domain-level data quality and standards-compliance metrics.
• Contribute to enterprise MDM/iPaaS roadmaps and prioritize gaps.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and quality requirements (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, HIPAA).
