Job summary

NewAmsterdam Pharma seeks a Director, Enterprise Data Management & Governance Lead to own data governance across clinical, regulatory, and commercial domains, with hands-on involvement in data quality, master data, metadata, and data lineage on Google Cloud.

You will co-chair the Data Governance Council, set standards, ensure GxP readiness, and work with Security, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and QA to translate obligations into data controls while driving faster access to trustworthy data.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in data governance, data management, or data platform leadership.
• Life sciences familiarity including GxP data integrity (Part 11, Annex 11, ALCOA+).
• Experience designing and standing up an enterprise data governance program, not inherited.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise data governance strategy, policy, and federated stewardship aligned to regulatory and launch milestones.
• Co-chair Data Governance Council with Quality Assurance.
• Oversee metadata, glossary, and end-to-end data lineage across clinical, commercial, and regulatory data.
