Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to lead enterprise data governance engagements for clients.

You will partner with executives, data leaders, security, and delivery teams to design governance programs that foster trust, visibility, and control over data estates. The role covers metadata management, business glossary design, data lineage, governance operating models, and Microsoft Purview implementations, with advisory support for modern analytics and AI

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise data governance and governance operating models.
• Strong communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead SME for enterprise data governance and metadata management.
• Lead governance discovery workshops, maturity assessments, and roadmaps.
• Design governance frameworks including stewardship models, ownership structures, policies, glossaries, taxonomy standards, and metadata processes.
• Architect and oversee Microsoft Purview governance implementations (data catalog, data map, lineage, etc.).
• Guide customers in developing sustainable governance processes and stewardship responsibilities.
• Design governance monitoring and reporting using Azure Monitor and related observability tools.
