NewAmsterdam Pharma Corporation seeks a Director of Enterprise Data Management & Governance Lead to own governance, master data, and the cloud data layer. You will collaborate across Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to define standards and ensure trustworthy data for regulated decisions.

The role emphasizes hands‑on data ownership on a Google Cloud platform with strong focus on data quality, lineage, and AI governance. Remote with occasional in‑person needs in the Philadelphia area.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in data governance, data management, or data platform leadership.
• Experience with GxP data integrity (Part 11, Annex 11, ALCOA+) and governance interactions with system validation.
• Designed and stood up an enterprise data governance program, not inherited.
• Hands‑on master data ownership with a modern cloud data platform (GCP) and SQL/dbt.
• Experience delivering governance from outside IT with business owners.
• Remote role with in‑person attendances in the Philadelphia area when needed.
• Knowledge of GDPR, SOX ITGC, CDMP or equivalent standards.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise data governance strategy, policy, and federated stewardship.
• Co‑chair the Data Governance Council with QA; oversee metadata, glossary, and lineage.
• Lead the data quality program with domain scorecards for executives.
• Manage master data across clinical, commercial, and regulatory domains.
• Define GxP readiness criteria for the data layer and future validation scope.
• Guide data management practices and governance of the data platform and CRO/vendor data.
• Ensure AI governance provenance and EU AI Act readiness; collaborate with Security, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, QA.
