Role Description

This exciting opportunity aims to transform the Compliance department by supporting strategic processes, technology, and reporting projects. The Analytics Automation Specialist and Business Analyst should have experience in business processes, data sets, reference data, and automation. Responsibilities include analyzing data, building workflows, creating reports, designing forms, and developing lightweight user interfaces, with a focus on bank-related process risks, communication risks, financial crime, and manipulation risks. Solutions should integrate with various bank systems and control frameworks.

This is a junior-level role within the Analytics team, part of the Compliance Department Americas Division (CPAD). The role involves building automated processes, reviewing reports, designing scalable solutions, and addressing challenges across the bank. A functional understanding of compliance surveillance, transactional data, and bank reference data is essential. The role may also involve authoring BRDs, FRDs, mapping workflows, and data flows, supporting all compliance areas in the Americas, and collaborating with SMEs and data owners.

Role Objectives

• Collaborate with Compliance SMEs to deploy solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Translate SME input into processes or reporting solutions.
• Implement data checks and controls to ensure data quality.
• Transform data to support processes and reporting.
• Create intuitive workflows and user-friendly forms.
• Develop escalation alerts via email or other interfaces.
• Track defects and improve processes iteratively.
• Draft BRDs and FRDs for technology integration.
• Document data flows and workflows.
• Build UAT scripts and support testing and project planning.
• Escalate issues promptly and ensure resolution.
• Coordinate with data owners to manage source data.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience delivering lightweight solutions on time and accurately.
• Familiarity with the agile development lifecycle.
• Proficiency with BI tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of systems architecture and scalable solutions design.
• Understanding of Compliance laws and risks.
• Strong skills in database and UI design, data mapping, and data extraction.
• Experience in preparing BRDs, FRDs, test plans, and workflows.
