Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to own the technical strategy for customers, leading architecture discussions and driving platform adoption across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.

You will partner with customer architects and Directors, orchestrate cross-functional resources, and influence product direction with feedback on requirements and competitive gaps. Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and live coding in Python/SQL is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or similar roles.
• Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding ability.
• Expertise in distributed data systems architecture (pipelines, streaming, lakehouse, cloud-native).
• Proficient with Databricks Platform with developing specialization in one area.
• Lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with production deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Track record of driving platform adoption and growth.
• Excellent communication translating architectures to business value.
