Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects, combining deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to position Databricks as the foundation of data and AI strategy.

Qualifications

6+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical roles.
Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding ability.
Deep expertise in scalable data pipelines, streaming, lakehouse patterns.
Proficient with the Databricks Platform and cloud-native data platforms.
Experience leading architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
Production deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP including security and governance.
Excellent communication translating architectures to business value for execs.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end technical strategy for your accounts, from discovery to production deployment and growth in usage.
Lead complex architecture discussions—design scalable, production-grade solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors.
Drive technical wins in competitive scenarios with custom-built solutions.
Develop and declare an emerging technical specialization (archetype) for the team.
Orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver complex customer solutions.
Influence product direction by providing feedback on customer requirements and gaps.
