Job summary

Xcel Energy in Minnesota is seeking a claims billing professional to manage the claims billing process, investigate damage claims, gather and maintain supporting documents, and prepare memos, reports, invoices and correspondence.

You will collaborate with contractors and internal teams, use CRS, SAP, and other systems to ensure complete and accurate claim submissions, negotiate payment terms, and monitor progress to close claims on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-high school education with business/technical emphasis beneficial.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and process damage claims and prepare supporting documentation.
• Manage billing, invoicing, and payment communications with contractors and customers.
• Coordinate with internal systems (CRS, SAP, Business Objects) to enter claims and finalize status.
• Negotiate payment options and monitor unpaid claims.
• Ensure timely delivery of information to stakeholders.
