Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mid-Level Dam and Hydropower Engineer to join our Northwest team in the Pacific Northwest and California, delivering projects for dams, hydropower, fish passage, and hydraulic steel structures. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, regulators, and communities to shape resilient water infrastructure.

You will contribute to design, evaluation, and rehabilitation tasks, while guiding project engineers and planners through planning and design phases

Qualifications

• Experience with dam, hydropower facilities, and hydraulic steel structures is required.
• Proven track record managing complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong ability to lead teams and coordinate with clients and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design and delivery of dam, hydropower, and water conveyance projects.
• Collaborate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to balance technical excellence with environmental and community goals.
• Provide project management oversight and mentor junior team members.
