Job summary
Jacobs is seeking a Senior Dam and Hydropower Practice Leader to join our West Central team to deliver dams, hydropower, and water supply projects across the Western United States. You will mentor multidisciplinary engineers and collaborate with clients and agencies to balance technical excellence with environmental stewardship.
You will lead design management, support business development, and guide staff while partnering with Northwest and California leadership to pursue challenging water
Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record leading technical work and/or design management for complex, multidisciplinary projects.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong technical design skills across contributing disciplines.
- Recognized by clients as a trusted expert with strong knowledge of hydraulics and reservoir facility design and planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical work and design management on complex, multidisciplinary dam/hydropower projects.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Support business development and mentoring of staff; may serve as Project Manager, Design Manager, or Subject Matter Expert.
