Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mid-Level Dam and Hydropower Engineer to join our Northwest team and support dam, hydropower, fish passage, and hydraulic steel structure projects across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. You will lead multidisciplinary design efforts, coordinate with clients, and ensure technical excellence while balancing environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with USACE/USBR/FERC guidance for dams, hydropower facilities, and hydraulic structures.
• Experience in structural steel design and stress analysis for hydraulic structures.
• Track record managing complex multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experts across dams, hydropower, and associated hydraulic structures.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver design and analysis on time and within budget.
• Support business development and client engagement across Northwest and beyond.
• Mentor staff and shape project strategies to drive technical excellence.
