Job summary

FreightTAS in Dallas is seeking an Air Import or Export Coordinator to manage air shipments, ensure compliance, prepare quotes, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role is based in Dallas and requires a minimum of 2 years in operations at an international freight forwarder.

Salary ranges from $50k to $65k base, with excellent benefits including 401k and medical. Experience with Cargowise or similar software is advantageous. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience in international freight forwarding logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day air import or export shipments.
• Pre-alert agent and shipper; organize and prepare documentation for customers; follow up with steamer lines; maintain daily reports for pending shipments.
• Ensure all required documents are received; send final documents as needed.
• File the relevant documentation to process the shipments.
• Arrange pick-ups, deliveries and container loading as required.
• Maintain customer service updates, including tracking cargo from origin to destination.
• Set up billing and payables.
• Other duties as assigned.
