Job summary

FreightTAS is seeking an Ocean Import or Export Coordinator in Dallas to manage end-to-end international freight operations for multiple clients. This onsite, full-time role requires hands-on experience in ocean import or export and a customer-focused approach to ensure on-time delivery.

Key responsibilities include booking, documentation, coordination with overseas agents and carriers, rate quoting, and ensuring customs compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ocean import/export experience with a freight forwarder.
• Hands-on CargoWise experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of international import operations from booking through final delivery, ensuring accuracy and on-time execution.
• Handle ocean import or export operations, including documentation preparation and shipment execution.
• Prepare and manage rate quotes for customers and international partners.
• Coordinate and oversee consolidated cargo shipments.
• Communicate with overseas agents, carriers, trucking companies, and vendors.
