People Freight is seeking a Senior Freight Operations Coordinator in Dallas, TX, offering a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 at home). The role focuses on managing Air & Ocean Import/Export shipments from booking to final delivery, with strong customer service and attention to detail.

You will coordinate with carriers and agents, prepare shipping documents, handle bookings, rates, and routing, monitor shipments, maintain records, and support process improvements for a growing

• 3+ years of experience in international freight forwarding.
• Strong Air & Ocean Import/Export experience.
• Good understanding of international shipping documentation and procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Air & Ocean Import and Export shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Coordinate with carriers, overseas agents, customers, and internal teams.
• Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation.
• Handle bookings, rates, routing, tracking, and shipment updates.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure timely invoicing.
• Provide professional customer service and regular status updates.
• Support the wider operations team and assist with process improvements.
