Job summary

You will participate in data entry, PLC machine setup, operate equipment such as punch machines and metal detectors, and monitor cleaning processes while maintaining safety and GMP compliance.

This role emphasizes sanitation, accuracy in following instructions, and strong teamwork to support a fast-paced dairy operation in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Proficient in use of the computer.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Follow sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• Compliance with food safety policies.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product.
• Complete appropriate data entry/PLC machine set up.
• Maintain 701 or 704.
• Washer chemical concentration.
• Conduct aseptic cheese sampling.
• Operate natamycin bath and maintain concentration.
• Operate punch machine and metal detector.
• Must be able to appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals.
• Monitor and complete punch machine needle checks.
• Stack aging baskets.
• Requires regular attendance.
