Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, operate and maintain production lines in a fast-paced dairy facility. You will ensure quality and productivity while following GMP, SOP, HACCP and safety policies.

Attention to detail and teamwork are essential. This role includes performing line adjustments, minor repairs, data entry, sanitation, and documentation, with pay of $27.83 per hour plus shift differential. Hours are 2/3PM to 10/11PM; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to consistently push, pull, and lift between 20 and 100 pounds.
• Working knowledge of production and plant processes.
• Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
• Traits of reliability, honesty, respect, attention to detail, and punctuality.
• Basic analytical and numerical skills; perform simple calculations.
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and productivity of the line while maintaining equipment efficiency.
• Perform line adjustments, minor repairs and changeovers for proper operation.
• Maintain records and documentation accurately and neatly.
• Operate metal detectors and complete required paperwork.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure packaging meets customer specs.
• Adhere to GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP and H&S policies.
