Job summary

Saputo is seeking a QA Supervisor to collaborate with plant management to maximize quality and productivity. You will ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting QA systems and record-keeping.

Lead and develop a team, oversee training, and drive continuous improvement across departments. The role requires a science-based degree or equivalent lab experience, familiarity with GMP/HACCP, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science-based area preferred, or 2 years of lab-level plant experience.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product quality and productivity with plant management and supervisors.
• Ensure procedures for product quality, employee safety, and regulatory guidelines are followed.
• Support QA systems including HACCP, GMP, process evaluation, labeling, and storage/distribution requirements.
• Coordinate schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for assignments.
• Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Maintain quality and food safety records; analyze and resolve issues.
