Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to lead the plant’s manufacturing operations, including administration, production, processing, packaging, scheduling, sanitation, quality, and safety.

You will drive cost efficiency, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining quality standards. The role requires a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 2+ years of supervisory experience, with strong budgeting skills and knowledge of Good Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience using Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proficient budgeting and cost control skills.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and OSHA basics.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across administration, production, processing, packaging, scheduling, sanitation, quality, purchasing, safety and environmental.
• Coordinate with Plant Manager and other departments to align operations with business goals.
• Direct plant activities to meet customer orders at lowest cost while maintaining safety and quality.
• Analyze plant operations and metrics to maintain high quality and safety standards.
• Manage expenses including labor, shrink, and overhead through continuous improvement approaches.
• Lead/root-cause analysis of downtime to improve efficiency and processes.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are developed and maintained.
• Collaborate cross-functionally as a change agent across the company.
• Support regulatory compliance and internal/external audits.
