Publix Super Markets is seeking a Manufacturing quality assurance and food safety laboratory technician in Florida to perform microbiological tests, milk and product analysis, and environment testing in a GMP-compliant facility. You will generate laboratory reports and assist in process improvements while maintaining meticulous records.

Requirements include a two-year degree in Dairy Science, Microbiology, or related field (or two years of lab experience), the ability to lift 50 lbs, and

• Performing raw, intermediate and finished milk and product analysis
• Performing environment tests
• Flavoring product
• Inspecting Plant and upholding GMPs
• Providing accurate and timely information to department managers
• Keeping records and documentation of test results
• Creating and communicating laboratory reports for regulatory agencies and Publix associates
• Assisting teams in applying information for process improvement and resolution of quality issues in the facility
• Other duties as assigned.
