Superior Dairy, in Canton, Ohio, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform quality assurance testing on milk and water samples and to maintain NCIMS/FDA certifications.

The role requires a BS in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Food Science, and strong communication skills. You will follow good lab practices, document testing records, and support a safe, efficient dairy processing environment with team and independent work duties.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.
• Understanding of EML and NCIMS/FDA Accreditation of Milk Laboratory requirements is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to share ideas/technical information clearly.

Responsabilités

• Accurately analyze milk and water samples following NCIMS/FDA and USDA requirements.
• Maintain NCIMS/FDA certifications.
• Follow good lab practices with meticulous, organized time management.
• Prepare media and reagents and maintain quality control testing records.
• Work collegiately in a team or independently and ensure a safe work environment.
