Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a production operator for our 24/7 manufacturing facility. You will cross-train in milk receiving, pasteurization, batching, blending and packaging operations, following SOPs, and ensuring product quality.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least two years in dairy manufacturing, strong math and computer skills; pay is $21.63 per hour plus $1.50 night diff, with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy preferred.
• Strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operator will cross-train in milk receiving, pasteurization, batching and filling operations.
• Follow SOPs in detail without deviation.
• Inspect bulk tanker and ensure proper unloading.
• Collect raw dairy samples and perform sensory evaluations and testing.
• Report deviations to supervisor promptly.
• Safely hook-up tanker trucks and off-load dairy products.
