Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Franklin, WI seeks a Production Supervisor to lead production employees at a new 340,000 sq ft facility, driving productivity, safety, and quality in North America cheese operations.

You will plan and direct work, monitor performance (OEE), coordinate schedules, train staff, implement CI improvements, and collaborate across departments. The role requires 1–3 years supervisory experience and an Associate’s degree in Operations Management, with SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• One to three years supervisory experience in a food packaging environment.
• Associate’s degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
• Proficient with ERP SAP.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends in support of plant operations.
• Demonstrates professionalism and represents Saputo positively.

Responsibilities

• Assign, direct, review, and monitor work of supervised staff to maximize productivity.
• Ensure procedures for production efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance.
• Inspect products and set up machine adjustments to meet specs.
• Coordinate production schedules and estimate worker hours required.
• Analyze volume and adjust duties to meet run schedules.
• Enter production data in ERP and report results, OEE, downtime.
• Maintain records, cleaning lists, schedules, and incident reports.
• Train staff on job and safety practices.
