Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain production line equipment in a fast-paced dairy manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality checks, and adherence to GMP and HACCP standards.

You will follow production worksheets, participate in line changeovers, and ensure documentation is accurate while contributing to a sanitary and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs frequently.
• Working knowledge of production and plant processes.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
• Reliable, honest, respectful, detail-oriented, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and productivity of the line and maintain equipment performance.
• Handle adjustments, minor repairs and changes to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Operate metal detectors and complete required paperwork.
• Perform quality checks and follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures.
• Monitor finished product quality and keep equipment and facility sanitary.
• Read and follow production worksheets and packaging specifications.
• Adhere to GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and H&S policies.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and minimize waste.
• Attend safety and departmental meetings as required.
