Job summary

Los Altos Foods is looking for a Pasteurizer to operate and monitor pasteurization and whey processing lines, ensuring safe, efficient production and strict quality standards in a dairy environment.

The position requires state sampler and pasteurization licenses, knowledge of SQF, GMPs, HACCP and sanitation, plus basic math and strong teamwork. A competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Food manufacturing or dairy production experience preferred.
• Experience with pasteurization equipment preferred.
• State Sampler License required.
• State Pasteurization License required.
• Knowledge of SQF, GMPs, HACCP, food safety and sanitation.
• Basic math and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to document temperatures, data and results accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pasteurization and whey processing equipment.
• Monitor temperatures, flow rates, pressures and other conditions.
• Perform required quality checks and product testing.
• Follow food safety, SQF, GMP and sanitation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize pasteurization equipment, tanks, lines and areas.
• Follow chemical handling and sanitation procedures.
• Document temperatures, production data and testing results.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment or processing issues.
• Report malfunctions or quality concerns to management.
• Follow all safety policies and applicable regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
