Job summary

Garelick Farms, LLC is seeking a production worker to operate pasteurization equipment in a fast-paced dairy facility in New York. You will ensure pasteurization meets production and quality standards while maintaining safe working conditions.

Responsibilities include sampling milk and cream for lab testing, washing and sanitizing silos and tanks, following recipes, and reporting any food safety issues to management. Strong teamwork and English literacy are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pasteurizer to ensure product is pasteurized and safe at or above production and quality standards.
• Operate pasteurizer in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Obtain milk and cream samples for lab testing.
• Wash and sanitize milk silos, cream tanks, and equipment.
• Produce product according to guidelines and separate into correct batches.
• Follow recipe guidelines for all products produced.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow GMP and corporate regulatory and sanitation requirements.
