Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• At least 1 year of management experience.
• Experience with staffing, training and customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store operations and mentor team members.
• Staff, select, and hire to meet staffing needs.
• Provide career paths and development opportunities for team members.
• Document disciplinary actions and assist with promotion decisions.
• Manage P&L, sales, and shrink within the department.
• Model and promote exceptional customer service.
• Communicate and implement the Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings and everyday work.
• Ensure team training completion and adherence to company standards.
