Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a dedicated team member to support daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will engage with customers and peers to ensure a positive shopping experience, while coordinating on daily tasks and coaching teammates to achieve sales and service goals.

You will contribute to training new hires, support scheduling, and help maintain product freshness and proper merchandising standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or other customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to influence others and coach a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best possible shopping experience for customers.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Support training of new team members and cross-train high potential talent.
• Assist in department scheduling to improve service and store profitability.
