Job summary

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment and blend amounts, adjusting valves, pumps, speeds and temperatures, and ensuring proper sampling, cleaning and documentation. Flexible hours and safety training are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months related experience required.
• Able to perform basic math in all units of measure.
• Experience in food and beverage industry preferred.
• Must stand/walk most of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate continuous flow or vat-type equipment to process dairy products following formulas.
• Monitor blending components and blend amounts per specifications.
• Control valves, pumps, speeds and temperatures per industry standards.
• Assemble/disassemble equipment for cleaning and sanitizing per manufacturer instructions.
• Test system operation with gauges and instruments and document results.
• Follow GMP, SOPs and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Provide samples to the laboratory and document all information accurately.
• Communicate issues to management and work in a team environment.
