Job summary

DFamilk is seeking a Batch-Blend Operator to operate continuous flow or vat-type equipment for dairy products. The role requires monitoring blend components, adjusting process parameters, and collecting samples for lab testing.

The position demands physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and completion of required safety PPE. Familiarity with GMPs and a proactive improvement mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6-months related experience required.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually the entire shift. Lift up to 50 pounds; PPE and safety protocols required.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending equipment to process dairy products.
• Monitor blending components and blend amounts.
• Adjust valves, pumps, speed and temperatures to specs.
• Collect required samples for laboratory testing.
• Assemble/disassemble equipment for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Observe and test system operation with gauges and instruments.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Document information accurately and promptly.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
