Job summary

BLOOMINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Bloomington, TX seeks a DAEP/ISS/Behavior Intervention & Attendance Support Paraprofessional to assist with instructional support, supervision, behavioral interventions, and attendance initiatives for students in DAEP/ISS and at‑risk learners.

Under campus administration and certified staff supervision, you will help students complete academic work, improve behavior and attendance, and facilitate smooth reintegration into the regular classroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Educational Aide certification required.
• Experience with at-risk students or behavioral challenges preferred.
• Strong behavior management and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and supervise students in DAEP/ISS.
• Assist students in completing assignments under supervision of certified staff.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and de-escalation strategies as directed.
• Monitor attendance and communicate progress to teachers and administrators.
• Maintain organized records of assignments, progress, and interventions.
