Job summary

Permobil, Inc. is seeking a D365 Application Specialist to provide subject matter expertise in D365 F&O Finance modules and to support and maintain live environments, ensuring seamless finance operations.

The role involves collaborating with finance stakeholders, contributing to ERP rollout programs, assisting with data migration, and creating documentation while mentoring IT teammates on D365 Finance topics.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in accounting—understand financial statements, period-end close, reconciliations, and core finance processes.
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Deep functional knowledge of GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and budgeting.
• Experience supporting or participating in full-cycle D365 implementations.
• Ability to configure D365 and write clear functional specifications.
• Comfortable working across time zones in a global, distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain live D365 environments—managing incidents, change requests, and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to ERP rollout programs: fit-gap workshops, configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
• Collaborate with finance business stakeholders to translate requirements into system solutions.
• Support data migration and integration activities related to finance processes.
• Create and maintain functional documentation, process guides, and training materials.
• Serve as a bridge between the business and technical/developer teams.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer within the IT team on D365 Finance topics.

What You'll Bring

• A solid foundation in accounting - you understand financial statements, period-end close, reconciliations, and core finance processes from having worked in or alongside an accounting function
• A career path that started in finance/accounting and has shifted toward the system side over the past 3-5 years
• 3-7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
• Deep functional knowledge of core Finance modules - GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and budgeting
• Experience supporting or participating in full-cycle D365 implementations
• Ability to configure D365 and write clear functional specifications
• Comfortable working across time zones in a global, distributed team
