Job summary

Permobil is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to accurately post customer payments into our accounting system, research discrepancies, and maintain detailed records. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule (onsite Thursdays) in Illinois, with a pay range of $46,000 to $54,000 annually, plus benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and retirement matching.

You will support month-end close, respond to inquiries, and assist with audits and collections as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with accounts receivable processes and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post all customer payments into the accounting system and research discrepancies.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding postings and account balances.
• Maintain customer setup, trade references, and credit application paperwork.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Support audits and other special projects as required.
• Assist in customer collection efforts as needed.

Your Role in Our Mission

• Accurately post all customer payments into the accounting system researching and resolving discrepancies that occur
• Adhere to department performance metrics, policy, procedures, and internal controls.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding payment postings and account balances.
• Ensure all documentation is filed appropriately and is easily accessible for auditing purposes.
• Research and perform customer analysis as needed
• Maintain customer setup, trade references and credit application paperwork.
• Assist with customer collection as needed
• Support audit requests and other special projects as required.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Knowledgeable of the accounts receivable process including general ledger terminology
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Transparency
The expected pay range for this role is $46,000.00 - $54,000.00annually. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
