Memorial Healthcare is seeking a qualified Cytotechnologist to perform specialized cytology examinations on GYN and non-GYN samples under the Medical Director. You will maintain lab equipment, ensure quality control, and prepare concise reports of findings for the pathology team.

The role involves examining slides, referring complex cases to a pathologist, and assisting with specimen preparation while upholding strict confidentiality and Universal precautions.

Qualifications

• Board-certified cytotechnologist or eligibility for certification.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited cytotechnologist program.
• Certification must be completed before hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform specialized cytology examinations on GYN and non-GYN samples.
• Examine slides and refer abnormal cases for pathologist review.
• Enter data and results into the laboratory information system.
• Maintain accurate quality assurance records.
• Prepare reports of findings and troubleshoot equipment; may assist with fine-needle aspirations.
