Job summary

• Graduated from an accredited school of cytotechnology or be certified by a certifying agency approved by HHS.

Responsibilities

• Review case material and patient history, document findings.
• Assist at Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA), prepare and stain slides.
• Provide microscopic adequacy assessment to physicians and assist cytopathologists.
• Process specimens and perform quality control and retrospective reviews.
